Spring Cleaning Sunday

So this weekend I was at my parents house. The number one task for me this weekend was to clean out my room that has turned into basically a storage room for the past nine months. It hasn't even felt like my old room every time I would come home for the weekend. But thankfully now it starting is to feel like it again.

After filling up nine, yes nine garbage bags with just stuff that has basically accumulated in my room for the past 6 years, I realised how much people actually hang onto in their lifetime. I found old high school assignments in my room from grade 8!! Absoultly ridiculous. But now, the room is all clean and I am starting to work on the re-decorating process. I have to start to choose a new paint colour since my first choice was shot down. Im leaning towards a Tiffany & Co blue colour. Since all my furniture is pine and my carpet is an off white I think it will look nice.

I have already started to search on Ikea.com so look for little things I need to purchase such as bed sheets, a rug and a side table & lamp. Slowly but surely this room will be finished and it will be all mine :)
