Summer At Last

On Sunday we finally got some sun and you were able to remember what summer is actually supposed to be like since we have been stuck with this cloudy/rainy weather.

To soak up the sun, the day was spent out on the water.

Beautiful BC

I have a love hate relationship with mid-week days off. Luckily they come around only every other week for me but I still love my two day weekends but then from time to time I like having a random Tuesday off. This allows me to accomplish a lot and it breaks up the week nicely.

Today on my day off I wanted to go & do something different and out of my typical box of things I usually tend to do. I gathered up a few of my friends and we decided to hike around Bridal Falls & then drive to Harrison Hot Springs where we then found a trail which led us to a "beach" (you'll see the picture later)

It was a beautiful day out and I had a great time! I have a feeling though that tomorrow my legs and calves will hate me.

Birthday Weekend

I am lucky enough to have a birthday on Canada Day, which means I pretty much always manage to plan my birthday around a long weekend.

This weekend I went up to my cabin with 8 other friends and had one of the best 3 days I have had in a long time. Nothing better than sitting on the boat in the middle of the lake, with the music turned up all the way, cold drinks in hand and sunshine..
